At Campo Dumestre, the development stems from a question that is both simple and profound: How can we live in this wonderful place without destroying or disrupting the natural cycle of its ecosystem? The answer is clear and straightforward: plan and build in harmony with the land, not apart from it or against it.
Thus, a master plan was designed that respects the natural contours of the waterways and the original grazing trails of Campo Dumestre, incorporating its groves and meadows into the design and layout of the internal paths and the buildable area of each lot.
Habitable shelters
Campo Dumestre encourages the construction of livable homes—that is, warm and bright dwellings that offer a welcoming atmosphere through simplicity, with sizes and materials chosen and managed by each homeowner according to their preferences, while respecting the grazing rights, view restrictions, height limits, underground utility lines, and building zones previously defined for each lot.
The concept of a livable refuge is based on the premise that nature takes center stage, while the dwelling acts as a respectful guest that cares for and contemplates it, fostering a genuine process of regeneration for the place and its inhabitants.
Life in community
Campo Dumestre encourages community life in particular, and to this end, the owners have formed a nonprofit organization that manages programs to promote and protect the area’s biodiversity, provides electricity and water, and ensures that construction and community life are carried out in accordance with the project’s guiding principles.
Life in the community is not limited to homeowners; they are also allowed and encouraged to rent out their homes to third parties, either directly or through an external maintenance, cleaning, and rental management service available upon request to each homeowner. Corporación Campo Dumestre is responsible for ensuring that internal rules and protocols regarding use and coexistence are respected at all times.

Rental
Management of short-term housing rentals, provision of supplies and food, transportation, and hosting services.
Maintenance
Preventive and corrective maintenance of indoor and outdoor facilities, in accordance with the manufacturer’s or installer’s manual.
Cleaning
Thorough cleaning and laundry services, before and after each stay, in accordance with the highest standards of service and sustainability.
